Social is a paid add-on at $50/month. It isn't included in any base plan — you turn it on separately, and you can leave it off entirely without affecting anything else in BookYourMat.
What it does: drafts social posts for your studio on a schedule, so posting stops being the thing you meant to do on Sunday night.
Before you start
Publishing needs your Facebook or Instagram account connected — see connecting Stripe, Gmail, and Facebook. You can generate and review drafts before that's done, though, so there's no reason to wait.
The intake interview
Social starts by asking about your studio, and the answers become your business brief:
- Your ideal client
- What makes your studio different
- Your offerings and prices, and any pricing notes
- Your place — where you are, what the room is like
- Any current promotion
- Your voice, with examples of house phrasing
- Tone constraints
- Topics never to post about
You can correct any of this later, and you should. "Actually our ideal client is adults over 50 recovering from injury" is the kind of correction that changes every post that follows. The voice examples and tone constraints are what stop the output sounding like generic fitness copy — they're worth spending time on.
Your first week
Once intake is done (or you've skipped through it), generate your first week of drafts. It plans and renders a full week, and it works before Instagram is connected — so you can see what it would post before committing to anything.
Reviewing drafts
Social lives on its own dashboard page, with tabs for This Week, Calendar, Weekly Blog, Library, and Brand.
Each draft has three options:
- Approve — marks it ready, and the scheduler publishes it at its slot
- Skip — this one doesn't run
- Fix this post — regenerate the image
Only drafts can be approved. Once a post is approved, it's in the ready-to-publish queue.
What you can't do
Being straight about the limits, because they're real:
- There's no publish-now. Approved posts go out at their scheduled slot.
- You can't reorder the queue.
- You can't change an individual post's date.
What you can change is the schedule itself: which days you post on and what hour, up to three days a week, under Brand → Content → Schedule.
Common questions
Can Becky publish a post for me? No. She can draft, and you approve. She won't claim she moved or published a post, because she can't.
A post is wrong and I don't want a regenerated image, I want different words. Fix the brief rather than the post — voice, tone constraints, and no-go topics shape everything generated afterwards.
