Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between BookYourMat ("Service," "we," "us") and the users of our platform, including fitness studio owners ("Studios") and their clients ("Students"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Studio Services (B2B)

1.1 Platform Access

BookYourMat provides a management and scheduling platform for independent instructors and studios. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your business operations.

1.2 "As-Is" Service & Maintenance

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While we aim for high reliability, we do not guarantee 100% uptime or that the Service will be error-free. We reserve the right to perform scheduled maintenance and updates with reasonable notice.

1.3 Data Ownership & Portability

1.4 Data Privacy & Security

Studio data is stored securely and is not shared with third parties except as required to provide the Service (e.g., sharing specific data points with integrated partners like Calendly or SMS providers). We do not sell your data or your clients' personal information.

1.5 Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party providers (e.g., Gmail, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, Calendly).

1.6 Payments & Reconciliation

BookYourMat provides tools to help you match receipts and track payments. However, BookYourMat is not a payment processor. All funds are transferred directly between you and your Students via your chosen third-party apps.

2. Subscription & Termination

2.1 Month-to-Month Service

Unless otherwise agreed in writing (e.g., a specific Price Guarantee), the Service is provided on a month-to-month basis. There are no long-term contracts.

2.2 Termination for Convenience

Either party (the Studio or BookYourMat) may terminate this agreement for any reason by providing 30 days' written notice. In the event that BookYourMat discontinues the Service, we will provide reasonable assistance for data export.

2.3 Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to change our subscription fees. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect, unless a specific price lock period has been agreed upon in writing.

3. Student & Booking Terms (B2C)

3.1 Studio Policies

Each Studio sets its own booking, cancellation, and refund policies. BookYourMat facilitates the display and enforcement of these policies, but the contract for fitness services is strictly between the Student and the Studio.

By opting into notifications, Students consent to receive automated text messages (reminders, low balance alerts). Standard message and data rates may apply. Users may opt out by replying STOP. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

4. Limitation of Liability

4.1 No Professional Advice

BookYourMat provides management software, not fitness, legal, or financial advice.

4.2 Liability Cap

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookYourMat shall not be liable for:

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by the user to BookYourMat in the 12 months preceding the claim.

5. General Provisions

5.1 Intellectual Property

The design, code, and original content of BookYourMat remain our exclusive property. You may not reverse-engineer or copy our software.

5.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

5.3 Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
